Dr. Svetlana Musheyev is a board-certified pediatric dentist who grew up in New York City. For her undergraduate education, she attended the City University of New York, Queens College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then attended New York University College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While in dental school, she was active in the American Student Dental Association and served as her chapter President for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Association.
Dr. Lana then continued at NYU and Bellevue Hospital for her pediatric dental specialty training in Manhattan, New York. During her residency, she was given the opportunity to participate in community outreach in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Dr. Lana is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She was featured in an article about pediatric dentistry by Marketplace on NPR/American Public Media. Click here to read the article.
Dr. Lana speaks English and Russian fluently, and enjoys traveling, volleyball, and going to the beach.
