Dr. Hsu graduated magna cum laude from New York University and obtained her dental degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. During her undergraduate time, she was awarded a merit based scholarship and the Ernst Rose GCL Schuchard Anniversary Prize. While at Harvard, Dr. Hsu was the recipient of an NIDCR/NIH research training grant to pursue dental research on Early Childhood Caries. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Hsu completed a General Practice Dental Residency at the Harvard affiliated hospitals in Boston, where she received extensive training in dental trauma/emergencies and in the management of medically complex patients.
She then worked as a general practitioner, where she was well loved by her patients. This is when it became apparent to her that she had a passion for pediatric dentistry. Dr. Hsu returned to New York to complete her pediatric dentistry training at the Mount Sinai Hospital. There she received extensive training in various behavior management techniques, performing procedures with Nitrous Oxide ("laughing gas") and performing full mouth rehabilatation under general anesthesia in the operating room.
Her main goal is to provide her patients with a pleasant experience, thereby setting the stage for optimal oral health.
Dr. Zuckerman is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and is dedicated to providing a positive, comfortable, and fun dental experience for children.
Dr. Zuckerman was raised in Boca Raton, FL and then moved to the northeast where she received a merit-based Presidential Scholarship and graduated Cum Laude for her undergraduate education at the George Washington University. She then earned her dental degree from the UNLV School of Dental Medicine in Las Vegas, NV, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Following dental school, Dr. Zuckerman completed her post-graduate residency training in Pediatric Dentistry at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Zuckerman received extensive training in behavior management, emergency treatments, working with special needs patients, and sedations.
Dr. Zuckerman is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, as well as the New York State Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, biking in Central Park, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Zuckerman looks forward to providing quality dental care and dental education to children and teens that will leave them with a life-long foundation for good oral health.
Dr. Svetlana Musheyev is a board certified Pediatric Dentist who grew up in New York City. For her undergraduate education, she attended the City University of New York, Queens College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then attended New York University College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While in dental school she was active in the American Student Dental Association and served as her chapter President for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Association.
Dr. Lana then continued at NYU and Bellevue Hospital for her Pediatric Dental specialty training in Manhattan, New York. During her residency, she was given the opportunity to participate in community outreach in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She speaks English and Russian fluently, and enjoys traveling, volleyball and going to the beach.
