Amy Lustbader - Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Amy Lustbader grew up
in Central Jersey and then attended Lafayette in
PA where she majored in Behavioral
Neuroscience. After college she moved to NYC
and attended New York University College of
Dentistry where she received her Doctoral
Following graduation, Dr.
Lustbader did a general practice residency
(GPR) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. She then received her specialty
training in Pediatric Dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center
in Brooklyn, New York. Her
training included operating room dentistry,
sedation and treating special needs
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD),
the American Dental Association (ADA), New
York State Dental Association (NYSDA), and
her local Manhattan chapter.
#1 goal is to provide her patients with the
highest quality pediatric dental care in a
comfortable, warm and caring environment.
She is dedicated to keep her patients free
of dental disease by creating a lifetime of
positive dental habits. She looks

Dr. Winnie Hsu - Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Hsu graduated magna cum laude from New York University and
obtained her dental degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
During her undergraduate time, she was awarded a merit based
scholarship and the Ernst Rose GCL Schuchard Anniversary Prize. While
at Harvard, Dr. Hsu was the recipient of an NIDCR/NIH research
training grant to pursue dental research on Early Childhood Caries.
After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Hsu
completed a General Practice Dental Residency at the Harvard
affiliated hospitals in Boston, where she received extensive training
in dental trauma/emergencies and in the management of medically
She then worked as a general practitioner, where she was well loved by
her patients. This is when it became apparent to her that she had a
passion for pediatric dentistry. Dr. Hsu returned to New York to
complete her pediatric dentistry training at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
There she received extensive training in various behavior management
techniques, performing procedures with Nitrous Oxide ("laughing gas")
and performing full mouth rehabilatation under general anesthesia in
the operating room.
Dr. Hsu is a member of the ADA. Her main goal is to provide her
patients with a pleasant experience, thereby setting the stage for
optimal oral health.
Jeffrey Drayer - Orthodontist
Dr. Jeffrey Drayer
graduated from Cornell University where he
majored in Nutritional Sciences. He received
his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Stony
Brook University. He completed his
postdoctoral program in Orthodontics at
Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He is
the recipient of the "Award for Exceptional
Interest in the Development of the
Oro-Facial Complex" presented by the
American Association of Orthodontists. Dr.
Drayer is board certified by the American
Board of Orthodontics.
He is an active member of
the American Dental Association and the
American Association of Orthodontists. He is
certified and proficient in treating both
adults and adolescents in Invisalign. Dr. Drayer's hobbies
include running and weightlifting.
Dr. Merissa Blais - Orthodontist
Dr. Merissa Blais is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial
Orthopedics and is very excited to have joined the Next Generation Dental team. She completed rigorous training in Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and holds her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Columbia College of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class. As a result, she was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Before completing her orthodontics training, she worked as a General Dentist serving children and adults.
During her time at UPenn, Dr Blais was particularly interested in and
studied the link between growth hormone in the blood and saliva. Her thesis focused on a cutting edge topic which might enable doctors to monitor growth via salivary testing.
Dr. Blais works with children and teens of all ages, and her primary
is to provide each patient with tailored, individualized treatment to achieve a beautiful, natural smile and ideal bite.
No stranger to the Northeast, Dr. Blais grew up in Providence,
her undergraduate degree at Wesleyan University (Middletown, CT) and lived, trained, and worked in New York City for over five years.
Dr. Blais is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists,
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society. She resides in Connecticut with her husband. In her free time, Dr. Blais loves keeping active and fit, and is always looking for new ways to help patients maintain a healthy smile from the inside out as well as from the outside in.
